Bush Picnic

For those wishing to really get away from it all and plunge into the real “bundus”, we can arrange for a bespoke Bush Picnic at a remote location on the Game Ranch that will make you fully appreciate and enjoy the African bush!

We will arrange, in consultation with our guests, for the required food and drinks that will be consumed at your Bush Picnic. Ideally, one of our staff can prepare a braai for you, whilst you sit back and enjoy the tranquility of the bush and enjoy the scenery and your ice-cold drinks!

Bush Safaris will be quoted for on-demand, after taking into account your requirements and must be booked and paid for, at least a week in advance. Please note that we do not allow cool-boxes or food to be brought on to the premises, as all drinks and food must be provided for by the game ranch.

Bar & Braai

Had a hectic and stressful week? Why not come and unwind at “Twamfule Bar”! Our fully stocked bar boasts a wide and varied selection of fine whiskies, assorted renowned wines and cocktails. You will enjoy a great view of our savanna open plains at our open-air bar, and if you’re in luck, the giraffe may come for their evening drink at their elevated drinking troughs, only a few meters away.

Our “Ozamwina Grill” can rustle up a tasty meal, hot off the grill, whilst you sip your drinks. You would do well to line up your stomach with our famous mbuzi (goat) soup and meat as a starter, ‘cos we are certain you will not be leaving in a hurry.

Fancy catching a bream for your meal? Well, just adjacent to Twamfule Bar is a small dam stocked with the most tasty bream. Ask for a bamboo fishing rod and have a go at catching one.

If you do, you can pay for it, chuck it on the braai and have our chef rustle up a delicious fresh-as-it-ever-gets bream for you.

Our fishing is strictly catch, pay and eat, not to catch sack-fulls to take home!
